Meet the Administration Staff
Pam Steiner is the owner of Steiner SILS. Her mom, Joyce Steiner, started the original Steiner SILS in the early 1980's and always knew that caring for the DD community was Pam's calling. Pam started her agency in 1999 as a legacy to her mom. Steiner SILS now covers 13 counties in Eastern Colorado. Pam is blessed with a wonderful staff that share her same passion for service, which has propelled Steiner SILS to the success that it is today.
Kathy has worked for Steiner SILS since 2012. She has been the manager of the agency since 2013. Kathy oversees day-to-day operations of the agency, and provides leadership to administrative and direct care staff. Kathy grew up around the DD community while her mother worked for another agency for several years. This is where she developed her love and compassion for the DD community. She is proud to be a part of Steiner SILS, an agency that prides itself in the being person-centered for the individuals and families that are served, as well as being a family first agency for the employees.
Heather started working for Steiner SILS in 2014. Heather oversees the front desk operations. Heather also assists with Spanish interpretations.
Heather is essential in coordinating meetings, trainings, and other appointments needed. Heather is representative of Steiner SILS and the first point of contact for the agency.
Marcie joined the team at Steiner SILS in 2016. She oversees medical services and supports the health and welfare of the clients. Marcie has been a nurse since 2012. She has previously worked in hospital and nursing home settings as well as home health. Marcie's love for nursing came to her at a very young age. Her parents also worked in the DD community as she was growing up, so she has focused her nursing passion in the DD community with Steiner SILS.
Quality Assurance/Alterante Agency Manager
Megan began working for Steiner SILS in 2014. Megan assists with staff trainings and oversight of services provided and documentation. Megan worked as a CNA at local nursing homes and as a preprofessional prior to her role with Steiner SILS. Megan also worked as a direct care provider before stepping into her administration position, and continues to jump in to help when needed.
DVR Coordinator / Quality Assurance
Nicole has been with Steiner SILS since 2012. She began working as a direct care provider and job coach with DVR. Nicole is now the coordinator for DVR services, assisting with staff trainings, oversight of services provided and documentation, and jumps in to help with direct care as needed.
Nicole found her niche for the DD community while employed for another agency. She established her place at Steiner SILS and is a valuable part of the team.
Anel began working for the agency in 2018, following the retirement of the previous financial manager. Anel oversees payroll and bill paying for the agency as well as the Steiner Vet Clinic and the Steiner Thrift Store. Anel is also bilingual and assists with Spanish interpretations.
